How is the use of unleavened bread for communion rooted in the Old Testament tradition? Does it matter if unleavened bread is used? Are individual ‘wafers’ okay for communion, or is symbolism lost by not using a ‘loaf’? How important is it ti maintain the purity of symbols? Is communion a time of celebration or introspection and mournful solemnity? Listen as the elders discuss these, and other questions, related to the symbolism of the communion bread.
