Our lives are not about us. We are to exist for the Glory of God. In order to maximize God’s glory on the earth we need to disciple others. But what does discipleship look like? Listen as Pastor Matt begins a five part series on I Thessalonians 2:9-12 entitled ‘Spiritual Fathering.’ Discipleship relationship most closely resembles a healthy father-son relationship in by our work 2:9, our walk 2:10, our words 2:11, and our will for those we disciple 2:12. May we so love our fellow Christians!

Thanks for preaching the truth from the Word of God!!! Thanks for not holding back , thanks for not sugar coating God’s Word. There are to many Pastors/Preachers who just speak to be a people pleaser, filling every pew in the church’s not because the truth is being preached but that it’s not being preached. I go to a small baptist church in Powell, Tennessee, not a big congregation at all, but the truth is being preached. My Pastor always says he’s not trying to fill the building by compromising God’s Word, He’s preaching the truth to build God’s Church. Thank you for standing and preaching the truth, we need it!!
