Matthew 9:32-34 Men With Good Eyes Who Could Not See

Matthew 9:27–31 describes two blind men who, although they cannot see physically, they do see who Jesus is! Then verses 32–34 describe another group of men, the Pharisees. They have good eyes but they cannot see. They are not blind physically but spiritually. Jesus will say of them in Matthew 23, “Woe to you, blind guides …” (vv. 16, 24), woe to you “ blind fools” (v. 17), woe to you “blind men” (v. 19), woe to you “blind Pharisees” (v. 26). Do you know people who are spiritually blind to Jesus’ identity and saving power? Pray to the God who can open both Physical and Spiritual eyes! There is yet hope!
