Jesus not only charted the path to super-exalted glory through suffering, He takes hold of those He took on human nature to save, and helps them complete the same journey. His faithfulness during the testing of suffering on this earth is our assurance that He can and will keep us faithful as we are tested in the same way. He is our great high priest; He took on our nature so that He might faithfully and mercifully give us what we need and represents us before the Father.
