Last week we saw Paul thanking God for the faith, love, and perseverance of the Thessalonians. Our next text is Paul praying that the Thessalonians will grow in faith, love, and steadfastness. What gives? How can Paul be thankful when growth is needed? Listen as Pastor Matt explains the beautiful paradox of rejoicing with thanksgiving while at the same time experiencing a holy discontentment. We must praise God for what He has done in our lives, but always desire a closer walk with our Lord. But why is it an ALMOST ever raising bar? We eagerly await the day when we are with Him, face to face, and we will finally be Holy like He is! Maranatha (Come quickly)!
