I Thessalonians 1:1-6 Recognizing the Family

I love the thoroughly biblical Michael Horton quote, ‘A church is not a group of friends you’ve picked, it’s a group of brothers and sisters God has picked for you.’

You cannot pick your family physically and you cannot spiritually either. But there are traits in our physical DNA that reveal our linage, and there is in our spiritual DNA as well. Listen, as Pastor Matt unpacks I Thessalonians 1:1-6 showing the familial nature of the Christian life and how Paul recognized ‘beloved brothers’ who were chosen by God (I Thessalonians 1:4).
