Last week we saw the dangers of grumbling and disputing. Israel was brought out of Egypt only to fall in the wilderness because of their lack of faith; ‘they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel’ (Rom. 9:6)! Likewise, many are in the church masquerading as Christians when they lack saving faith. Grumbling and disputing are excellent indicators of the state of one’s soul. But, the questions must be asked; ‘how much grumbling is too much’, and ‘what is the Bible really forbidding in this text?’ Walk with Pastor Matt as he answers both of these questions by examining Philippians 2:14.
