You’ve probably heard the phrase ‘The ends justify the means.’ They most certainly do not! When we compromise in order to keep the crowds, to form coalitions, or to gain capital to be leveraged for the expansion of the church we are behaving nothing like Jesus. Listen as we see Jesus’ response to each of these ‘opportunities.’ Jesus doesn’t need the crowds. Jesus doesn’t need advantageous coalitions. Jesus doesn’t need capital assets. Jesus doesn’t need. Period. But Jesus requires your worship, and He requires your obedience. Let us trust and obey as our King builds His Church!
