In this sermon Pastor Matt takes a deeper look at Jesus’ response to Peter’s great confession. Jesus heartily agrees with Peter that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and as such He will build HIS Church; a new people of God. And what will this new people of God do? We will receive the promises of the Abrahamic covenant. We will possess the gates of our enemies, and, by the authority given to us by King Jesus, we have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Our destiny is to be a blessing to all the nations of the earth as we make disciples of them; teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded. Praise the Lord! We cannot fail!
