But when Herod heard of Jesus’ miraculous works he arrived at a ridiculous conclusion. Herod is persuaded that Jesus is John the Baptist (who Herod had ordered to be beheaded) raised from the dead! Furthermore, he is convinced that this miraculous resurrection fairy tale is the reason Jesus is able to perform miraculous works. Listen as Pastor Matt shows that Herod should have (and did) know better, and how Herod’s rejection of truths he undoubtedly knew makes him all the more damnable for his faulty conclusions and lack of repentance.
