Do you ever feel too far gone to be within the reach of God’s grace? If so, you’ll probably be surprised to learn that Jesus’ family tree is not populated with perfect saints; in fact, quite the opposite it true. The broken path to the promised King was actually a path through gross human depravity and immorality, and through crushing human disappointment, but it led to our only hope; human divinity, the God-man, Jesus Christ, who will save His people from their sins and from their sin’s consequences. If the path to the Savior required grace then, then rest assured, the unchanging God still extends grace now.
