You probably think you know the story of the wise men coming to see baby Jesus, but do you really? There are so many unanswered questions. Why would some men from the East see a star and think, ‘We need to head toward Jerusalem, a king has been born?’ Why did the Jews themselves fail to take notice of the star? Why would King Herod take these mysterious men so seriously that he conspire to murder countless babies to eliminate the alleged baby king? These questions have answers and the answers demonstrate the marvelous unity and trustworthiness of the whole Bible. May your faith be built as you hear the word of Christ. We stand on a firm foundation; you do not have to ‘check your brains at the door’ to be a believer.
