Our lives are not about us. We are to exist for the Glory of God. In order to maximize God’s glory on the earth we need to disciple others. But what does discipleship look like? Listen as Pastor Matt begins a five part series on entitled ‘Spiritual Fathering.’ Discipleship relationship most closely resembles a healthy father-son relationship in by our work 2:9, our walk 2:10, our words 2:11, and our will for those we disciple 2:12. May we so love our fellow Christians!
9 For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. 10 You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. 11 For you know how, like a father with his children, 12 we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
