People, even Christian people, can sometimes hurt your feelings, let you down, and, let’s admit it, just get on your nerves. But in Paul says he ‘gives thanks to God always for all’ believers. How did he sustain such gracious feelings toward flawed people? The Thessalonians’ Faith and Example
2 We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly  mentioning you in our prayers, 3 remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 4 For we know, brothers  loved by God, that he has chosen you,

 1:4 Or brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church
